Building Maintenance and Technical Management

The growing number of unsold buildings and the interest shown by our Developers in the maintenance of their Buildings has highlighted the need for the revaluation of old and new buildings through adequate interventions that ensure complete integration within the real estate market.

 

This has long been the housing sector policy of European Union member countries, where the investment in Rehabilitation is much higher than that in new Construction. Portugal finds itself in the opposite situation, with a supply surplus, which has repercussions on the generalised crisis in which the market finds itself.

 

Thus, in 2009, LinhasGerais extended the scope of its activity, based on interventions in existing Buildings, and started providing Building Maintenance and Technical Management Services, performing periodic maintenance actions, which include different degrees of intervention.

 

The proposed services focus on prevention. Periodically, rigorous inspections are carried out, and where necessary, preventive and, in some cases, corrective maintenance activities are performed.

 

The purpose of these actions is to detect irregularities, avoid aggravation of existing deficiencies and the consequent need for repairs or more in-depth work.
